Our Remote Backup software works much like regular data backup software, with a few important differences. 

First, instead of sending backups to a tape drive or other media attached to the computer, Remote Backup sends the backup securely over the internet to our off-site data server.  You will never have to worry about taking a tape or disk off-site again.

Second, it does this completely automatically, usually at night.  This completely relieves you or your employees from ever having to think about your backup again.  If your business relies on computer data to function, then proper, reliable off-site backup is critical.  Now it can be done without you ever having to think about it. In fact, you will probably even forget it's happening.  With our Remote Backup, your data is backed up on schedule, reliably.

Third, redundancy.  That is, one must keep multiple copies of the same fs at different points in their development, called versions.  With our Remote Backup, by default, you get 30 calendar days of backups stored off-site.  Further, you should be able to easily restore any of your files up to any given point in time.  Banks do it, big corporations do it, and now so can your company. 

Fourth, Security.  With our Remote Backup service your files are never copied onto "portable" media.  Would you want someone to be able to slip one of you backup tapes into a pocket and take it to a competitor?  Unfortunately, it happens.  Tapes, zip disks and cds are generally NOT encrypted.   So anyone can read them and access the data.  Our Remote Backup software, encrypts its backups for complete security so nobody, not even our employees can gain access to them.
